Yiota Stamou

Yota was born and raised in Athens. Since she was young, she was involved in sports, like volleyball and track-and-field. She is an undergraduate student of Athens University of Economics and Business, majoring in Marketing and Communication. She met yoga 5 years ago when she needed an alternative and more holistic way to work out. Her first yoga class was more than enough for her to realize that a yoga practice is not just a work out. Eventually, 3 years later she completed her YogaWorks Teacher Training 200h with her teachers Anna Zorzou, Katerina Katsogresaki and Voula Bolou.

Since then, she teaches vinyasa yoga at yoga studios in Athens. At the same time, she teaches aerial yoga classes, in a way that she combines her love for acrobatics with her Swaha Aerial Yoga Certificate.
Her desire to work with children started when she was a university student. She worked as a volunteer
for ActionAid, at the training center “A world upside down”, and at the same time she attended seminars for team psychology and communication. A few years later, she attended a two-day seminar for Kids Yoga and she started teaching yoga to kids.
In 2016 she worked as an assistant teacher at the first Garuda Kids & Garuda Aerial Kids Teacher Training, near Maria Maganari. She also is the writer of the Garuda Kids manual. Yota participated at several yoga events, such as Spring Yoga Fair and Spring Yoga. She is currently working with children with autism under the authority of occupational therapist, Panagiotis Kagileris.

Evi Deliyianni

Evi was born 16.12.1975 and got into sports from a young age. She was an athlete in Swimming, did Ballet and Jazz. Studied Marketing and Public Relations in Greece at St. George College. Started doing yoga in 2001 after reading a book by Iyengar Yoga The Path To Holistic Health. She got inspired by the Philosophy of Yoga the Holistic approach to a different way of leaving. Feld in love with all the different ways yoga made her feel more relaxed, energized and motivated. Had her first training in 2009 with Godfrey Devereux (founder of the Dynamic Yoga Method) and started teaching after completion.

As a free spirit continued with a lot of workshops with Anna Zorzou (YogaWorks Teacher and Teacher Trainer in Greece/Cyprus/Europe). She was intrigued by Anna Zorzou method of teaching and took her second training and completed the YogaWorks method in 2015.
Into the journey of yoga found her self taking classes as a student in Aerial yoga classes by Gianna Pateraki and got certified as an Aerial Yoga Teacher in Athens at the Swaha Yoga Center in 2015 by Tanya Popovich and Evangelos Apostolopoulos.
Evi is a mother of three children always wanted to find ways how to introduce yoga to them. So she got certified as a Garuda Kids Yoga & Kids Aerial Yoga Instructor at Siddhi Yoga Shalla in Greece by Maria Maganari and Yota Stamou. She got the knowledge and confidence to teach young children & teens, and the tolls to built a kids yoga class. Teaching kids yoga is a journey in a magical world of children field with fantasy, fun and non-ending energy. You have the ability to see the world with a different view the way children see it and this is the magic that comes out from yoga and children.
